SENSORY INTEGRATION THERAPY WORKSHOP

Forward Stride Center for Therapeutic Recreation and ASIA (Associated Services International Adoption) bring you a workshop on Sensory Integration Therapy in Action for Adoptive Families.

Have you ever wondered if your child might have some sensory issues? Children who spend the first part of their lives in institutional settings may not have been stimulated enough for their brain to form necessary connections – those that regulate how they react to different sensations. These children may develop Sensory Processing Disorders. Attendees will receive an overview of Sensory Processing Disorders and the benefits of equine therapy and other therapies to people with Sensory Issues. You will get a chance to see Sensory Integration Therapy in Action. Lunch is included with registration. Workshop space is limited.
